Jack Russell Terrier / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Small
Etta was adopted as a puppy but recently returned. She responds very well to adults, and actually would do well in a home with another dog, who is the alpha.
Etta is completely house-trained, and knows how to walk at heel. She also knows sit and down. Though sometimes her exuberance can take over, with continued training she will do very well and would actually make a wonderful agility dog. She is very smart and willing and joyful.
Etta will require a lot of daily exercise to wear her out, walks and plenty of play time in a fenced yard. While she is crate trained, she is not used to being crated for long periods during the daytime. She does sleep in her crate at night and seldom has to go out after bedtime until early morning.
Etta is a really wonderful and loving dog and would love to be the center of attention in her new home with lots of sturdy chew bones to keep her from chewing on socks.. She also loves treat puzzles.
