Border Collie, Lab mix with some hound dog in him! He is a very loyal, affectionate, loving, active, and cuddly dog! Dawson was retrieved from death row in Maury Co. due to having heart worms and no family. When he was rescued by Proverbs, he immediately went to his foster home where he quickly learned how to be a loved family member. Dawson LOVES to be by your side at all times, is a lap dog (if you sit down, he wastes no time to jump in your lap and cuddle), loves to take walks, play outside, play with his stuffed animals, and is very eager to please. He has picked up quickly on norms and commands, but could use some basic training. Dawson does get a bit too excited around cats, so a cat free home would be best for him.
