This is Belladear and her lifetime friend Auggie (see bottom picture.) They have been walking through life together and would be heartbroken if separated, therefore they need to be in the same home.
Auggie is a shaggy haired, low key boy who loves when you talk gently and scratch behind his ears. He's the more sensitive of the two and relies on "big sister" Bella to watch over and comfort him, especially during thunderstorms. Belladear is a total extrovert and the more curious of the two. She loves to be cuddled and gives plenty of love in return. Bella is more vocal and Auggie has yet to be heard barking. Bella does love her food and can be possessive during meal time. She may occasionally need meds to keep the discomfort of arthritis at bay. They are both super sweet, very affectionate and easy to care for. You will often see them cuddled together during sleep and rest or patrolling the fence line to keep the squirrels on notice. Everyone knows a dog is a man's best friend, but a dog can be a dog's best friend too! Both are housetrained and Belladear even knows how to use pee pads. A 6' ft fence is required!
The adoption fee will be waived in lieu of a donation for an exceptional home that adopts both.
