Meet Trixie! (I call her Ms Priss!) Trixie is so sweet and has those irresistible “puppy eyes”. She is content to lounge around while you are busy but loves attention when you are around. Her hobbies include chewing bones (but nothing else you don’t want her chew) and sniffing around outside (she’s definitely a beagle/hound mix). She doesn’t like to be around a lot of dogs she doesn’t know, but if you have another dog at home she’ll be fine with them after about 2 weeks when they get to know each other. She is protective of her bones and her space, but she is not aggressive and won’t attack another dog or any person. She is 100% house trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She loves being outside where she can investigate all the wonderful smells so a fenced yard or walks would be ideal! I would recommend crating her during the day if you have a trashcan in the open because the trash smell is just oh so tempting, but she will be completely content to lay in her crate and chew a bone. Overall, Trixie is an easy-going, low maintenance gal looking for a special someone to love!
