Ismay appears to be about 8 to 10 y.o. She weighs 8 lb. She was heart worm positive and treated. She also had skin infections, ear infections, a bladder infection and needed 17 teeth extracted. She came from a breeder/hoarder who kept about 20 small dogs in a large outdoor pen where they cross bred and he sold the puppies. He was actually prosecuted for animal cruelty and neglect and his animals were pulled by authorities. 
Ismay lost two puppies when we got her due to a uterine infection that was never treated.We treated that and had her spayed. She has improved immensely in her foster home but will require a special home that will teach her to trust humans. She knows how to use a doggy door, but will need help with house training in a new home. When she is outside, she must be kept in a small, securely fenced area or on a lead. She would bolt from fear if not secured. Our animal behaviorist recommended a home with no other dogs or one small dog that loves people to teach her that people can be good.
