(from Ariel's foster:) "Ariel was born 12/2/10, and is very sweet natured. She loves to play with the other dogs here. I have two Proverbs dogs that are about 1 year old. They are much bigger than Ariel but they play well together and they play a lot. Ariel is still quite the puppy and has to be watched so she doesn't chew things. She has chewed the fabric on two of my older, dog chairs so a new owner would need to watch her to prevent that on good furniture. She also enjoys shredding newspaper. She will carry off a shoe if given the opportunity. We correct her and redirect her to an appropriate toy, of course, but given an opportunity she will chew an just about anything when the urge strikes her. She is housebroken here about 95% of the time. We have dog doors so she can let herself at will. She has been sleeping on the bed with us most of the time we've had her. She has had some clicker training and LOVES it. She is a very smart little dog and very motivated to please. "She is still less than 20 pounds so I think she will stay fairly small. She needs her 3rd puppy shots and because she is young, she has not yet been spayed. "She really is a precious, affectionate and playful puppy. Her mother is 1/2 basset and 1/2 beagle.
