Lillyl was rescued from a kill shelter just 2 days before delivering 8 beautiful pups.  Pups are now weaned and Lilly has been spayed and is ready to go to her new home

Lilly is a very loving and playful girl, everyone who meets her comments on her very active tail wag – what a joyful experience, she enjoys being with the family, likes everyone of our family equally. She adores playing fetch in the back yard, I think her greatest happiness for exercise is to chase a tennis ball. She does great on walks – she walks right by me  and wants to be with me not run away and go on a chase, in the rare occasion when  her leash came lose she has waited for me to reattach the leash so we could proceed on our walk.  Sometimes she likes to lay in the back yard to cool down from playing, she never has tried to escape the back yard. When she wants in she knows to bark (rather than scratch the door) – she learned that fairly quickly – I asked her to bark when she wants in and since that time that is what she does. She does great running if one chooses and will run 3-4 miles at a medium pace (although she does like to take a few pit stops to smell the environment).  She does well with other dogs as far as playing, she will share and lay with the foster Chihuahuas I’ve had. When we walk she doesn’t bark at other dogs or become aggressive, she is a little weary when she meets various dogs. She does not growl at the food bowl and is o.k. with the other dogs taking her chew toys.

Although Lilly is a beagle / hound mix she does not howl or bark very much. She is very patient with me, when I am home working, and she would love to go outside she nicely will understand to go lay down. She takes direction fairly quickly. She is a solid 45lbs. – and is well proportioned.

She is a wonderful companion!
