Finn & Snip are two puppies from a litter born in foster care in 12/11. They were born with myelodisplasia which led to their losing the use of their back legs at 6-8 weeks old. They were happy, loving puppies that loved to play while "scooting" around using their front legs. Their foster worked with them for several months walking them with a sling as they gradually regained the ability to walk on their own although the back legs do not bend nor separate. They also had a few water therapy sessions that Finn loved but Snip did not appreciate.
They have remained in foster care and continued to progress to the point where we now feel they are ready to be adopted. While they will never walk "normally" they don't seem to notice it. They love to run and play and take walks with their fosters. Finn has learned to climb stairs and has even made it onto the couch by himself.
They are both very affectionate and haven't met a stranger. They are crate trained, housetrained, get along w/ cats, dogs and kids.
Please watch their video to see how happy and playful they are and consider giving them a forever home - separately or together. Snip needs a home w/out stairs and while Finn can maneuver them, would not want a home with a lot of stairs.
