Meet Yodi, Yodi weighs 43 pounds and is a beautiful brindle color with docked tail. He is around 7-8 years old. Yodi was pulled from a high kill shelter just moments before he was to be PTS. He has most likely spent his entire life chained outside. He is starved for affection and is very eager to please his human. He would love a fenced in yard where he can run free. He also loves snuggling on the couch. He has been fully vetted and is on preventive heartworm treatment. He has been in foster care and does fine with smaller dogs and a 7 year old child although he might be clumsy around smaller children. Cats and large dogs are not recommended. Yodi has possibly had a botched attempted vocal cord severing resulting in a very unique bark, however he only barks when he’s left outside alone. Yodi is crate trained. He is working diligently on house training. He knows “sit”, and does “potty” on command outside. He’s working on other basic commands and seems very eager to learn.
