Meet Louie!! He was pulled from a high kill shelter just days before being PTS. He is 10 yrs old but he is quite active and alert so the number shouldn't deter any potential adopters. There are no health concerns. He has already undergone his neutering surgery & is healing nicely. He loves to cuddle and at night, burrowing under the covers for extra warmth. He loves to nap in the dog bed or your lap, whichever is available.
He gets along well with other dogs & doesn't mind cats at all.
As with most toy breeds, a lot of noise and chaos can increase his anxiety level a bit but he tolerates even small kids well although we prefer homes without children under 10 yrs old.
He's totally housebroken, not a single accident! He walks well on a leash and only barks to alert you someone is at the door. Louie also rides well in the car; loves to feel the breeze on his face.
Louie isn't a dog that needs an experienced dog owner, as he knows how to be a great pet already. He comes with all the experience necessary. Other Pictures of Louie (click to see larger version):
