Hi, my name is Day, which is an American Indian term for Light of Hope. My foster mommy found it suited me well since I wasn't having the best of luck when she found me.
I am a spayed female Pit Bull, I am about 2 yrs old, and my foster mommy says I have the funniest personality and the playfulness of a little puppy. She says I am full of energy. I am small and compact for my breed. I love to play ball and tug of war rope with my foster daddy, and I love, love, love treats. I'm working on learning new things.
My foster mommy is teaching me to walk on a leash. It's new to me but she say's I'm a quick learner and doing better. I love people and kids, but since I'm so energetic I would probably be best for older kids. I get along with other dogs, but I'm not too sure about kitties though because I've never met one.
I am praying for my forever home, where I can run and play and snuggle with my new mommy and daddy. I appreciate Proverbs for saving me...and they said that my home to come will be exceptional. I'm not sure what that is, but I think it means great!!
