Siam -NS

I wanted to write you to tell you how well Siam is doing. Siam is doing great! He has adjusted very well to our family. He is definitely my cat because he follows me around and sleeps with me all the time not even hinting at sleeping with anyone else!!!! He is the talker! He lets us know when he needs something. He has gained a great deal of weight as you will see in the attached pictures. We love him very much and he is doing great.

Sugar

Sugar Bear was at 3 mos of age with an injured front leg. The vet could not save her leg and it was removed. I brought her home to foster and after 3 mos, decided to adopt her. She is so amazing, she loves to run and play with all 8 of my dogs. She can jump up on the bed and then back down again. She's amazing to watch, and more wonderful to love and snuggle with. She knows nothing but love. She's now 6 months old and growing into an adorable lady.

Steve

Pepe (Steve) is doing well. Cheech (adopted in 5/09) is the big brother and Pepe follows his leadJ. They are wearing off on each other and as soon as Pepe is completely settled (there are times when he is still al little timid) I plan to do some obedience training for the both of them. They are both spoiled little babies and Pepe eats just as much as Cheech does. They run together, play together and are really good friends. The attached picture was after playing really hard last weekend! It’s funny how similar their mannerisms have become and this was a perfect example of that!

Smooch
Smooch

Smooch is one lucky dog. He was rescued from a hoarding situation affter Cheatham County Animal Control was called and asked to pick up almost 60 dogs. Proverbs stepped in and took around 30 of these animals and they are being placed in wonderful homes. Smooch is one of the LUCKY ones who has found a home. Look how happy and healthy he looks after just a couple days with his new family. NOTE FROM THE FAMILY: Smooch continues to make improvements--on the hour almost. Yesterday morning when I let him out of his crate from the night before, he immediately went up to Bill’s office and got on the sofa. He and Bill hang out up there in their “man cave”. I got him a squeaky toy at Walgreens yesterday, and he picked it up, went upstairs, and got on the sofa in the “man cave”. He snuggled with it like it’s his baby. He and Bill take walks quite a bit. I take him for walks too, but he and Bill take walks to have “guy time”!!

Shadow H
Shadow H

Hello, I adopted Shadow from the 8 Below group on Saturday, January 17th. He is doing great and we have renamed him Logan! I am going to take him to the vet to get checked out tomorrow and wanted to get more infomation about him to let the vet know. Can you tell me about his parents? I think I remember one of them was a white Husky and the other was a Shepherd Mix. One of them was about 40 pounds. Also, you said they were born around Thanksgiving, right? Any information would be helpful. On a side note, when we bring him back to get his shots, do we have to pay for them or are the shots on that form included in the adoption fee? Thanks! Catherine
