Katie is an 11 yr old bichon who came from a very well loved and cared for life. Unfortunately the family chose to move on without her as a part of their family unit when they moved and were wanting to euthanize her. Fortunately she was put into our hands and she is doing well! She is a sweet dog that gets along with everyone and all animals. She is a great companion dog.
She does have very easily controlled diabetes and is mostly blind. She can see light changes and shapes. Katie doesn't allow this to stop her though. She gets to where she wants to go and usually with her tail wagging. Her care requires an insulin shot 2xs day, benedryl and vitamins.
She flows well with change and doesn't get anxious. She is crate trained, groomer comfortable and loooooves greenies !!! Katie's vet said she should have many quality years of life ahead of her.
