Lady is a precious girl who has been dealt a bad hand in life and our goal is to change the cards! At some point in time this Lady was either scalded or burned with chemicals on her hind quarters. There is no way to comprehend the pain this sweet baby must have endured as this horrid injury healed without vet care. Still she has kept her sweet spirit and trust in mankind. When Lady was brought to us we knew of her hairless hindquarters and her need for further medical care but didn't know the extent to which her needs were. She is now at Bellevue Animal Hospital (Nashville, TN) where she awaits major surgery on both ears. In addition to surviving being burned, she has had double ear infections so long that she is nearly deaf and only surgery to open the ear canals as well as remove a large hematoma, will correct this problem. Nonetheless, she wags her tail, leans against the vet techs for love, and seems grateful for every kindness. We are in need of two things. Our rescue is known for taking dogs no one else will. For this reason, monetary support is badly needed. We ask that donations be paid directly to Bellevue Animal Hospital(615-646-4545) for the care of 'LADY." Our second goal is to find a home for this sweet girl so that she can recover in her "forever" home. Please help this helpless one so that her life story can have a happy ending.
