Big dogs need love too! Izzy is a beautiful girl who is learning to come out of her shell! Danes mature slower than other breeds and Izzy is still very much a puppy. She is playful and very, very sweet. Izzy loves everyone she meets and just wants to make friends! She has spent the majority of her life outside so Izzy is learning how to be housetrained. Izzy is also learning what it means to be a "large" inside dog. This leads to some very comical moments as she runs around the corner and barrels into a table or chair! Izzy would love to be welcomed into your heart and home. She loves children, but would probably due well with children 5+ due to her size. She doesn't realize just how big she is though she's on the smaller end of the Dane scale. 

Izzy is a little curious about cats, but with a stern "no" she minds her own business. She loves other dogs and gets along well with everyone. If you have big love to give an extra large "summer" Dane then Izzy is your girl!

Izzy's foster mom recently noticed she seemed to be running into corners of doorways, tables, etc. After a trip to the vet and a special dog opthamologist we learned that Izzy is blind in her left eye. Izzy will need an exceptional home who is willing to work with her and her special need. But don't let that deter you, Izzy is as spunky as ever and ready to find a forever family!
