Adorable Willow came to us pregnant from a kill shelter in West Tennessee. She is ready for her wonderful forever home. One look at this face and you will be hooked.
Describe the perfect adopted home for Willow: Third dog, with healthy minded and confident dogs that can put her at ease quickly. Smaller dogs preferrably under 35 lbs, she deals with more quickly than big dogs. She adapts to big but they need to give her space. She is a sweet girl and really soft. Once she trusts you, she is silly and has a great little personality. It will take about 3 months for her to find her place but once she trust and knows you have food and hands to pet, it goes fast. But I can see it taking her a while to settle. I think truly it will be faster with people that don’t chase her or have huge expectations and want to just let her learn what a house and her new family is all about. She will be their favorite with that little underbite and I can see her being a completely different dog in 6 months to a year. Always skittish with new things, typical Chi, but that pug side, curiosity/friendly is there. Other Pictures of Willow (click to see larger version):
