We rescued Young Lady from the streets of Nashville after she was abandoned by her owner who was evicted.  Young Lady is a very sweet girl.  She will roll on her back for tummy rubs.  The neighborhood children and adults fed her - but she was "running at large," and vulnerable on a volatile, busy street.  She had pups in the spring - they were placed by the woman who contacted us about her.  As her milk continued to dry up, her beautiful shape has come back to its original form. (Photos before and now current - Sept. - are included)  Her sweet face is so expressive with her hundred wrinkles as if she is always pondering something deep in thought.
Young Lady's surroundings where we got her from (the owner's rental property) were filthy.  An inverted light fixture served as her food bowl.  She has since been bathed and Frontlined, heartworm tested, fully vaccinated, dewormed and spayed.  Mostly, she has been loved! She is such a good dog, gentle, submissive and very quiet, appreciative, agreeable and friendly. It's time for her luck with humans to change!  She's about one year old.  Fenced yard a MUST.
