General Teddy is a playful and energetic Lakeland Terrier, who is a year and a half old. He loves to play with toys especially stuffed animal toys. He can spend hours outside just running around the yard.
He is house trained and crate trained. He knows how to sit and could easily learn more commands. He walks well on a lease. He is very curious and likes to greet other dogs when walking.
He gets along well with other dogs. He would be happy to have a canine playmate, but he may be a little too playful with an older dog. He hasn’t been around children, but should do well with older children who would play with him. He is very friendly and seems to like everyone he comes in contact with.
He does like to cuddle too and will sit with you on the couch.
As a Lakeland Terrier he is hypoallergenic and sheds very little.
General Teddy will do best in a home where he has someone to play with him and take him on walks.
Teddy does have a genetic eye issue that will need to be monitored. He has cataracts and his vision is impaired slightly. He has been seen by a vet ophthalmologist who said surgery is not required now but may be needed in the future.
