Hi, my name is Nolan, and I was named after one of my heroes Meteorologist Davis Nolan. My brother Spencer, my sister Breezy and I had a rough start. We were found in a building destroyed by a tornado that came through Middle Tennessee in December. Thankfully the very nice people who worked in the building rescued us from the rubble and called Proverbs. Like any meteorologist worth his salt, my favorite tool is the laser pointer. I have fun playing with the small human chasing the ribbons she drags around the house and the laser pointer she shines. I also love toys on a stick, and I can’t wait to show my furever family how high I can jump to catch them. I hope I meet them soon. My foster mom says I am strong and smart. One of my favorite places to take a nap is the closet. She kept shutting the closet door, so I figured out how to slide it open by myself! There is a picture of me in the top of the closet. She just shook her head and laughed, and didn’t even ask me how I got up there. We were on our own for the first part of our lives, so I am not comfortable being picked up yet. I do like following my foster family around talking to them with my manly meows. I purr and rub into them while they pet me. I also like to spend my days hanging out with my foster family’s teenager. I sit in his lap and lay in bed with him while we watch YouTube videos on his phone. There is a picture of that too. Bird and fish videos are my favorite. And if humans have Churu treats to offer me, I am usually up for petting while I’m eating that. I would also like to be adopted into a family that has an adult cat I can play with. Even though I am bigger than my brother and sister, I always let them eat their food first. Then I find the third dish and eat out of that one. I think I would be a really good “little” brother. Nolan is neutered, microchipped, is up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia. More about NolanGood with Cats, Good with Kids
