Chuckie is a sweet, timid little guy who is still learning that the world is not so scary and that people can be kind and loving.  Chuckie came from a hoarding situation where that was clearly not the case.  Chuckie needs a warm and loving home where he can continue to heal and build trust and confidence at his own pace.  With a little love and understanding, Chuckie can continue to learn and blossom.  He has learned from watching other small dogs in his foster home so we think he would do great with another calm canine companion. He has not been around cats in his foster home. Although we think his feet may have never touched the grass in his previous living situation, he is starting to show interest in wanting to go outside and he has even started to use the bathroom outside. He is potty pad trained.  Chuckie has very little leash experience, but his foster family has been working with him.  He sleeps soundly through the night in his crate.  Chuckie would thrive in a calm home without children under the age of 10 as he is still adjusting to loud noises and fast movements.  Once he is in his new home, it may take Chuckie a little while to adjust and adapt but once he does, he will be an amazing addition to his new family.
