Sweet as Sugar describes this baby rescued from under a mobile home where she was born last Oct. She endured frigid temps, snow and ice with a mangled front leg until she was discovered. We rescued her ourselves the 2nd week of Feb in freezing temps and our vet amputatd her leg the folowing day. Now she is healing, warm, out of pain and realizing love for the first time in her short life.  Sugar will not be available until mid March. She's super smart and aleady housebroken after only being in a house for a little over one week - she's still a young pup mind you! She will require a fenced yard even as an indoor medium sized dog. No young kids, no stairs. Other dogs depends. Home visit will be done prior to placement. $150 adoption fee to offset her vet care. Donations very much appreciated and needed.
UPDATE: Foster reports that she has made a remarkable recovery and it tearing through the house like she owns the place. (2/25)
UPDATE: SUGAR BEAR IS NOW (3/15) READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME!! HOME VISIT AND FENCED YARD REQUIRED.

Special Needs: Sugar will be healing from leg amputation and pneumonia until late March. Her surgery was early Feb. As a pup, she will adjust to 3 legs. No stairs.
