Velvet and her four pups (Charo, Nutmeg, Hershey and Sundae) are a recent rescue from frigid temps this winter found by workers on a construction site while she was still PG. Velvet is small (18 lbs when found) but once fattened up should be a small to med sized girl about 20-23 lbs. tops. She is a sweet, gentle girl and a good mom. She prefers to be inside understandably. Is learning to walk on a leash and potty outside. She is cautious and shy but warms up once she knows you. She is maybe 3 to 4 years old per our vet. Her previous foster reports: She is very timid - she does not walk well on the leash although we are working on this. She does not like loud noises and will run under the bed when she gets scared. A quiet home with a fenced yard would be best. She does want to be part of a family, it is just hard for her to trust yet. VELVET NEEDS A FOSTER. VELVET'S PUPS ARE ADOPTED, HER MILK IS DRIED UP AND SHE IS SPAYED NOW. SHE IS SO SWEET AND KIND. PLEASE GIVE THIS HONEY A CHANCE TO KNOW LOVE AND WE ARE CERTAIN SHE WILL RETURN IT TEN FOLD.
