BABY HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME AND WAS ADOPTED - THANK YOU
Baby was thrown from a car and attacked by dogs losing a small poriton of her ear before one of our volunteers came along and rescued her. She appears to be a Whippet mix weighing in at 25#. She is completely deaf but this doesn't slow her down at all. A beautiful, sweet girl. While she is very affectionate with children, we do not recommend for a home with small children as she is very active and might jump up and knock them down. 6/7 Update from foster: Baby's pictures do not do her justice, she is a beautiful little girl. Very dainty with a lean Whippet build. She also runs like it and is a joy to watch. Baby is very affectionate and likes to know where you are but is not needy or jumpy. She is very smart and will do very well with someone who will teach her some sign language or obedience hand signals. She has never met a dog or person that she did not love and she is very sweet with kids. She is also housebroken and crate trained. (From her foster:) "Baby is a beautiful 4-6 months and about 25lbs. She's completely deaf but working on learning sign language. She's a very smart girl, perfectly housetrained, and gets along with cats, dogs, and children. She likes to cuddle and sleeps in her foster's bed. She hasn't chewed ANYTHING up and sits when shown a treat. She's so well behaved! Special Needs: Completely deaf but doesn't slow her down.
