Teddy needs a foster! He looks like a sweet, cudly, furry teddybear! He's a 1-1/2 yr old Golden Retriever mix who was a stray and taken in by animal control. We got him out on his last day. He is so grateful for being rescued that he hasn't stopped smiling. He just had his debut at our adoption event at Petco and was fabulous. He smiled and wagged his tail at everyone, loved it when people petted him and allowed children to hug his neck. A little boy in a wheelchair approached Teddy and his hand kept slapping Teddy, as he didn't have control of it. Teddy just smiled. We tried him with a cat and he smiled and sniffed the cat. He backed away when the cat hissed at him so we're pretty sure he'll be just fine with cats. He smiled and sniffed the puppies and greeted the big dogs with a smile. He loves squeeky toys and will bow down and pop his little butt in the air while playing with one. He's pretty thin, only weighing 37 lbs so he needs to be fattened up. When animal control found him, he was covered in ticks. He is now fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative and ready for his furever home. We don't yet know if he's housetrained. Due to a shortage of fosters, he is being boarded. He really needs some TLC and fattening up, so if you can't adopt, please consider fostering him so he doesn't have to sleep on a concrete floor.
