Nolen was found as a stray in Nolensville and thankfully taken in by his current fosters. He had a choke collar embedded in his neck and underwent surgery to have it removed. foster notes 12/16/11: He is very smart and learns quickly. He is a big teddy bear and loves to cuddle. He is housebroken, no longer jumps on people, walks on a leash, knows "sit", "shake", & "down". (Working on other commands still) He is good w/ other dogs, cats, and a 1 year old. He lets me play with his paws and has no food aggression, I can play in his food bowl while he eats. He also takes treats gently. He likes riding in the car and is well behaved. I take him to work with me (Nolensville Vet) and he sits calmly all day in the front office. (Giving him exposure to possible adopters) He has not chewed on anything except shoes. (The person who brought him in at the vet had brought him with an old shoe he had given him to chew on.) We are in the process of learning shoes are not chew toys.
