Daisy is a long haired, deer-head Chihuahua currently being treated for
mange. As a result, she will not be available for adoption until her treatment protocol is finished sometime mid to late April. Daisy is a typical Chihuahua. Very sweet to the people she knows, loves and trusts, but she is not particularly fond of strangers. She trembles when she is nervous or around new people and places. She is quite a little character and will bark at you to get your attention, so you will give her some loving. She loves to scamper around the house checking things out. Daisy will become very attached to her owner/caregiver and you will be the center of her world. She loves to snuggle and spend time in your arms. She is crate trained and house broken. She will stand on her hind legs and dance for a treat. She only weighs 4.5 pounds, and is a very dainty girl, so she should not be around small children or larger dogs. If she's happy you'll definitely know it...her tail wags like crazy and she loves to give kisses, but on the other hand, if she's not happy, she'll let you know. She would do best in a quiet home with an owner that is familiar with the breed. She tolerates other dogs, but she doesn't really like to interact with them. |
