Meet Zippy!! This is one more litter of puppies from the downtown Nashville area where we have been feeding for a pack of dogs since being alerted about a litter of puppies since last summer. During the bitter cold of Jan '14 we found 3 litters of puppies and managed to trap two of the moms. We were unable to catch the third mom. Fortunately all three litters have found great homes while the 2 moms continue to be boarded while they undergo heartworm treatment and work on their socialization.
While we have continued to feed the pack, we were surprised when we were contacted last week about yet another litter of puppies that were inside a warehouse. Once again we tried to trap the mom (not the same one as before) but she was not willing to enter the trap. Since the puppies had to be removed from the warehouse and had started eating on their own, we picked them up and they are now in foster care.
