Hank is a 5-6 month old, boy.  He is believed to be a Rottweiler/Great Dane mix.

He is a very sweet boy who loves to play for 30 minutes to an hour and then fall asleep beside you for a while. He has never had an accident in the house and  he is starting to whine when he needs to go number two. He will go in a crate when given a toy or treat and does not seem to howl/get upset.

He likes to sleep as close as possible to his family curling up beside you on the couch or beside/on the bed, but is learning to sleep on a dog bed. He sleeps through the night and does not wake up to go potty. I have been able to leave Hank for a 1-2 hours to run errands in the bottom portion of the house and he did not mess with anything other than his toys.

Hank currently has demodex mange that is being treated through a topical treatment and is not contagious to other dogs/humans. He has two spots on his head, and 3-4 throughout his body that are missing hair due to the demodex, but they are no bigger than a dime. This will need to be treated throughout his life by proper diet/supplements and controlling his dry skin by washing him with a  benzoyl peroxide shampoo.

Hank also is being treated for kennel cough and will not be cleared until seen by a veterinarian, February 20th. At this time, if you would like to come meet Hank, that would be fine, but he is not cleared to be around other animals. He does get excited to be around other dogs, but unfortunately he has not been able to socialize due to his kennel cough.

Please consider adopting Hank! He needs a good home, with lots of space, a yard, and people to play with him! He is a great dog and learns very fast what is expected of him.
